Namibia Hunting Safaris
Your Namibia Safaris may include plains or dangerous game, or both. Whatever you decide, we’ll work to help you experience the excitement, magic and fun of classic African hunting safaris.
You can also know that your hunt will benefit conservation and the local community. Classic Safaris is committed to conservation and social upliftment, and therefore where possible, works to secure hunting rights within communal conservancies. Learn more about communal conservancies here.
Khaudum North: Muduva Nyangana & George Mukoya Conservancies (Kavango Region)
The adjoining conservancies are situated 130km east of Rundu and against the Botswana border to the east. When looking at a map of Namibia the general area is right at the dog leg where the corner of Namibia/Botswana and the Caprivi strip starts. The core hunting area has no settlements, no cattle or subsistence farming activities. The camp is situated approximately 6km in a straight line from the northern border of Khaudum national Park.
This general area has the best quality elephant in Namibia, when considering the averages that were hunted in these conservancies, the nearby Nyae-Nyae conservancy (Bushmanland) over the last 11 years together with the averages produced in the government area known as east Kavango.
Also available on quota are Giraffe, Roan, Eland, Kudu, Oryx, Impala, warthog, Duiker and Steenbok.
More About How We Hunt
Due to the sizes of our hunting areas, we move around by vehicle so as to cover as much territory as necessary. We may sometimes walk straight out of camp. Elephant hunting is strictly on foot, by tracking. Once we find a good track, we will follow on foot. For plains game, we often move to various vantage points on foot and glass for game, and decide on stalking or not. We also spot plains game from the vehicles as we are driving, and then leave the vehicle to stalk. There are also areas where plains game frequent, so we also slowly walk and hunt into and through these areas.
